DANBO stands for Danboard, made of cardboard. This doll is the creation of Azuma Kiyohiko, who is a comic artist of manga series "Yotsuba". The shape of this doll is very unique, which is an action figure with an appearance likes a human, and mini size (7x13 cm). Whoever they are will feel exasperated when they see Danbo. How not ? Danbo could be moved manually and was formed a variety of unique styles. The company which made it, used a high technology in every joints of this doll, so it was enabling Danbo to could move in supple.
The expression of this cute cardboard doll has became the major attraction. Danbo was sold with price starts at 5.000 yen, or about Rp500.000,- per unit.
